Can’t get into safe mode with password – Easy fix to get back to normal login

If you ever find yourself trying to get into safe mode but cannot or don’t know the password? Well, it takes you in an endless loop to login to safe mode. Now you want to get to your regular login screen.

Boot off USB or CD and get into your command prompt.

How to get into safe mode without a password

Boot off USB or CD and get into your command prompt.
Type:
bcdedit
This command will display a list of values – Normally you will have default for your drives.
If yours is the default – Type this command listed below
bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot

After that has completed successfully, reboot your computer. After a good reboot you should see your normal login screen.
